Our students enjoyed visiting with authors and illustrators yesterday during the Reading Rock Stars virtual event! Photos are coming soon.
We are now ready to pass out the autographed books to all our students. Every student will receive a book. Next week on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, we will be giving them out curbside from 4-5 p.m. See you here at Bryan next Wednesday! 📚🐾🐻😀

The Texas Book Festival’s Reading Rock Stars program is a hands-on literacy initiative that sends nationally recognized authors into Title I schools in Texas to inspire young readers with dynamic presentations and send them home with the most empowering experience of all – owning their very own book. The Texas Book Festival funds and coordinates the author visits and donates the books to the children as well as a set of books to each school’s library. This year our school is so fortunate to have received this amazing grant for a second year! Coming virtually on February 25, 2021!
