Mission Summer Parks and Recreation Activities 2016

Are your children bored at home? There are many summer activities that your children can participate in. Check out all the great events that are city of Mission is providing!

Bryan Uniforms

The uniform at Bryan Elementary will Consist of the following:
Monday: Royal Blue
Tuesday: Hunter Green
Wednesday: Red
Thursday: Navy Blue
Friday: Grey MCISD Shirt

School shirts will be on sale at MCM Sporting Goods located at 1302 N. Conway (581-1632) for $5.50 each or $26 for all five shirts.

Polo shirts in the approved Bryan colors may be purchased at the above location.

Students may wear any pants or shorts as long as it complies with the Student Code of Conduct. Girls may also wear skirts as long as they are not shorter than 2 inches above the knee. Shirts must be tucked in at all times.


We are excited to announce that students are able to log into myON for the summer! myON has thousands of e-books for children to enjoy reading or listening to. Bryan students can log into their myON account by using their school ID numbers as both the username and password. ENJOY!


Summer Reading Rally!

Bryan Elementary had a great time at the MCISD Summer Reading Rally! READ ON was the theme this year.

A.R. Incentive for Second Grade!

Second Grade students that met their A.R. goals for the 5th Six Weeks were able to participate in the hitting of the PiƱata! They had a blast!

Award Assemblies

The assemblies will be taking place in the cafeteria on the following days and times:
Kinder Graduation: May 23, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.
First: May 23, 2016 at 1:30 p.m.
Second: May 26, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.
Third: May 26, 2016 at 1:30 p.m.
Fourth: May 24, 2016 at 1:30 a.m.
Fifth Grade Graduation: May 24, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.

Autism Awareness Month!

Bryan Elementary supports Autism Awareness Month by dressing up in different themes everyday on the week of April 11-15, 2016!

Career Day!

Thank you to our amazing Counselor, Ms. C. Luna, for planning our annual Career Day! The students had a great time!

Bryan Literacy Night!

Our Literacy Night was a huge success! Thank you District Attorney, Ricardo Rodriguez for coming to read a Clifford book to our students. You did a fantastic job! A big thank you goes out to all the students and parents that came out to support this reading event. Also, many thanks to Iris Saldivar, Neydi Luna, Sandy Luna, Veronica Olvera, Becky Salazar, Isabel Salinas, and Cynthia Luna for helping out with the decorations.

Peter Piper Pizza, Speer Memorial Library, and H.E.B. are always available to promote literacy. A huge thank you goes out to them for taking part in this event.
