Donate a book or books that are new or used (in good condition). The library has a drop off box. The donated books will be dropped off at our HEB located on 495 and Conway. Thank you for your donation! We look forward to being the top school in this READ 3 School Book Drive Challenge!

Ayesha Mumtaz, a fifth grader in Mrs. R. Peña's class, became a Bryan Platinum Reader on the second day of school! She read many books all summer and was prepared to test on the Reading Renaissance Program. The students, staff, and her family are extremely proud of her!

We are so excited to announce that each student in our school received two books of their choice for their summer reading assignment! Students are being asked to read the two books throughout the summer and complete a book report for each book. The book reports need to be turned in on the first day of school to their teacher. A copy of the book report was sent along with the books. Attached are the book report templates just in case they are needed. Students that return their two book reports will get $100.00 Bryan Bucks! READ ON!

myON is a personalized literacy program that provides access to the largest integrated collection of digital books with reading supports, customized to a student’s interest and reading abilities. Created to enhance the reading experience, myON develops an individual profile for each student based on his or her interests and reading ability, and generates a recommended book list.
Students log in with the following:
Username: ID Number
Password: s ID Number (a lowercase s before the ID number)
The students with the most hours read per grade level this summer will be receiving a Kindle!
myOn can be used at home, school, and with any device. READ on!

Our school has collected $8,242.20 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society up to date! We want to thank everyone for working hard and helping with this fundraiser!

What is your child doing this summer? Why not spend an exciting summer learning at the Zoo? Summer Safari is just the place for your little one. Each day includes fun-filled activities such as puppet shows, games, stories, crafts, sing-a-longs and tours. Each child will receive a certificate of completion, rewards and mementos for participating. Summer Safari classes have been especially designed to stimulate
learning and encourage conservation. Let your kids have fun while enhancing their skills. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided each class day. Schedule is attached.

There are daily activities and events happening this summer at Speer Memorial Library! Attached is the calendar for the months of June and July. Cool off and enjoy reading a good book at the library!

Bryan Elementary is proud to announce that our very own, Mrs. Rhonda Peña, fifth grade teacher has been selected as the winner of the HEB Excellence in Education Lifetime Achievement Award! Our staff and students welcomed her back from the ceremony with a warm welcome. We are so proud of her! She does so much for our students and staff! We love you Mrs. Rhonda Peña! Well deserved! Our school received a $25,000 grant. She received $25,000 in cash!
