Congratulations to Rhonda Peña, fifth grade teacher, here at Bryan Elementary for being named District Teacher of the Year! We are very honored to have you as part of our staff. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Our PK classes celebrated Earth Day by learning about different ways to take care of our Earth. Their assignment was to take a nature walk around the school and look for beautiful things that our Earth has.

Ed Masessa is the New York Times Best-selling author of The Wandmaker series; Wandmaker, Wandmaker’s Apprentice and The Wandmaker’s Guidebook, as well as the picture book, Scarecrow Magic. He recently received the Gold Award in the 2017 Florida Book Awards in the Older Children’s Literature category for Wandmaker’s Apprentice. He combines his love for science fiction with the challenges faced by today's youth to create timely fantasy that is based in the real world. Ed has three grown daughters and lives in Florida with his wife.
