August 16, 2023 is the First Day of School 🍎
We are starting a new adventure and are super excited! For the first day of school we ask that you please place a label on your child that includes the child's name, teacher's name, grade level, mode of transportation for dismissal, and bus number if applicable. Also, please have your child wear the uniform for their grade level. The color of the shirt is extremely helpful in identifying the child's grade level which ensures the student safety. If the shirt order is delayed, please help us by having your child wear a similar color. Thank you so much! See you Wednesday!

Mission CISD will continue with the adopted school policy which makes uniforms mandatory. Your child is expected to wear the following color of T-Shirt on Monday-Friday. Please see poster for the grade level colors.
Please pre-order the shirts. The uniform can be purchased at MCM Sporting Goods located at 622 N. Conway Street.
These shirts can be worn with jeans, shorts, or khaki pants.

We are bringing it back! The Back to School Bash is set for Tuesday, August 8th. Mission CISD students will receive school supplies and services will also be provided. If you are not a current student, don't worry we can enroll you on the spot. Remember, only while supplies last.

From June 1 to July 31, Bryan Elementary will participate in the 2023 Summer Reading Challenge sponsored by Beanstack. We challenge our students to read at least 30 minutes or more daily during the challenge and keep track of their reading on our Beanstack site at Beanstack.com.

We're competing against schools and libraries across the nation for a chance to win cash prizes from Beanstack. Happy reading, Bryan Bears!

Incentives:

The Top Three Readers with the most minutes read in our school will be recognized at our First Assembly of the 2023-2024 school year.

Beanstack is awarding the following to the top schools and libraries:

Grand Prize: $1,000 (one school or library)

Second Place: $500 (five schools or libraries)

Third Place: $250 (15 schools or libraries)

Honorable Mentions: $100 (30 schools or libraries)
