Fang is challenging our students to meet their 4th Six Weeks AR Goals. Students that meet their AR goal for the 4th Six Weeks will receive a free ticket to a game on March 15, 2016!

The last day to meet your AR Goal is on March 4, 2016.

Our third, fourth, and fifth graders had a blast participating in the 2015-2016 Bluebonnet Book Voting. Students had to have read 5 out of the 20 books from this years list. We had 252 students participate! The book called, Separate is Never Equal: Sylvia Mendez & Her Family's Fight for Desegregation, was the most voted upon.

Two Robotics Teams competed this past Saturday, January 23, 2016 against other elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools . They worked extremely hard and stayed many days after school working on coding and building their robots. We are very proud of their accomplishments. A big thank you goes out to third grade teachers that sponsored the teams. They are Rosario Grimaldo, Joanna Gutierrez, and Hilda Cano.

A big congratulations to Ms. Gina Garza's fifth grade class! They have managed to keep up with having perfect attendance for the first semester of school. What an amazing job boys and girls. Their goal is to have perfect attendance for the whole school year. They want to remind all our students that when you miss school, you miss out.
