A big thank you goes out to The Molina Foundation for providing one book for each of our students this Christmas! Mrs. Mendez, our librarian, applied for this grant. The children were so blessed and excited for their gift. Thank you!

Hard work pays off! Our volleyball girls placed first in the volleyball tournament! Congratulations to all the girls! A big thank you goes out to Coach Barrientos, Coach Pearl, and the parents for all their dedication. Way to go Bryan Bears!!!

Students can start bringing in their money to support their grade level character. The winner with the most money collected will be announced at the end of the Fall Festival which will be taking place on October 14th.

Thank you to First United Methodist Church of Mission for helping in the beautification project in our school! Pastor Bill lead this project. This took place on Saturday, September 24, 2016. They provided plants, mulch, and flowers for our campus. We also want to thank all our parents, staff, and students that helped plant, take out weeds, and spread the mulch in the playground.

Some of our students dressed up in celebration of Mexican Independence Day.

Students enjoyed reading with their family on Thursday, September 15, 2016. The library was opened from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to all students who wished to come in and enjoy our books!

Our students are on a mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Students will be able to sign a pledge for Jump Rope for Heart on October 10, 2016 during P.E. class. Brandi Nelson, from the American Heart Association, will be visiting our school on October 17, 2016 for a presentation. The Jump Rope for Heart Event will be taking place on November 14, 2016 during P.E. class.

All grandparents and family members were invited to eat with their child this week. Our students enjoyed having lunch with their family members!

Ayesha Mumtaz, a 4th grader here at Bryan Elementary, loves to read! She kept a journal of all the books she read this summer and was eager to test on them. She is the first one to break the million mark in the district! Congratulations! We are so proud of you!
