HEB Read 3 Fundraiser from September 14-27, 2017!

Donate a book or books that are new or used (in good condition). The library has a drop off box. The donated books will be dropped off at our HEB located on 495 and Conway. Thank you for your donation! We look forward to being the top school in this READ 3 School Book Drive Challenge!

First Platinum Reader in Bryan Elementary!

Ayesha Mumtaz, a fifth grader in Mrs. R. Peña's class, became a Bryan Platinum Reader on the second day of school! She read many books all summer and was prepared to test on the Reading Renaissance Program. The students, staff, and her family are extremely proud of her!

MCISD Summer Reading!

We are so excited to announce that each student in our school received two books of their choice for their summer reading assignment! Students are being asked to read the two books throughout the summer and complete a book report for each book. The book reports need to be turned in on the first day of school to their teacher. A copy of the book report was sent along with the books. Attached are the book report templates just in case they are needed. Students that return their two book reports will get $100.00 Bryan Bucks! Summer Reading with myON! Contest ends on August 31, 2017!

myON is a personalized literacy program that provides access to the largest integrated collection of digital books with reading supports, customized to a student’s interest and reading abilities. Created to enhance the reading experience, myON develops an individual profile for each student based on his or her interests and reading ability, and generates a recommended book list.
Students log in with the following:
Username: ID Number
Password: s ID Number (a lowercase s before the ID number)
The students with the most hours read per grade level this summer will be receiving a Kindle!
