Welcome Author, Ed Mesessa to Bryan Elementary!

Ed Masessa is the New York Times Best-selling author of The Wandmaker series; Wandmaker, Wandmaker’s Apprentice and The Wandmaker’s Guidebook, as well as the picture book, Scarecrow Magic. He recently received the Gold Award in the 2017 Florida Book Awards in the Older Children’s Literature category for Wandmaker’s Apprentice. He combines his love for science fiction with the challenges faced by today's youth to create timely fantasy that is based in the real world. Ed has three grown daughters and lives in Florida with his wife.

Third Grade wins the Books Comes Alive District Competition

Congratulations to our third grade team for placing in the district's Books Comes Alive competition for the 2018 year! Thank you to Lolly Peña, school administration, librarian, and teachers for promoting reading. We are so proud of our third grade students!
Our students enjoyed a visit from the Gladys Porter Zoo on March 27, 2018 in the library as an incentive.
